Introduction
• Follow these steps to get after-hours access to Art & Design Department labs in the Graphic Design areas utilizing the mobile application OpenPath.
• Graphic Design Lab areas include: 34-151, 34-159B
• Only Art & Design Majors and Minors, and students actively enrolled in specific Art & Design classes are eligible for after-hours lab access.
NOTE: Access cannot be transferred to a different device. If a user changes phones, these steps will have to be repeated again on the new device.

Request access to computer labs from the Art & Design Department.

Graphic Design (34-151 & 159B): Contact the Visual Resource Specialist, or front office.

Photo and Video (34-222): Contact the Photo tech.

You will receive an automated email from OpenPath Security to your Cal Poly email account.

This email will not come from a Cal Poly domain or account, so keep an eye out for it in your spam/junk folder.

Download and install the free OpenPath app on your mobile device.

Once the the app is installed, click the SET UP PHONE button in the email.

These two steps must be done on the device that will be used to unlock the lab doors. Access cannot be transferred to a different device.
